Pope Leo XIV meets Lebanese President: seeking a just and lasting peace

Pope Leo met with the President of the Republic of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, this morning, August 20, at the Vatican. The President subsequently held talks at the Secretariat of State focused on the agreement signed by the United States, Israel, and Lebanon.
